playing to win week 3

Hi guys this week in reading we have been reading chapter five of our novel playing to win we had to make a question on what happened  in chapter five. one thing that happened in chapter five was that we found out about Alice's brother that died in a crash after his rugby party. This explains why alice does not take alice does not take denney's accident well and why she does not like rugby. my question for what happened in chapter five is What do you think caused the crash to happened?.

Playing To Win week 1

For the past few weeks/days, Bhs class has been given different books from the teachers to pick. I picked playing to win because it sounded interesting and it was the last book left in the box. Today the teacher has choose us some questions to answer. So here are some of my answers to her questions from the book.

Things to include: 

• Who is the protagonist (main character)? I think Denny.

• What do we know about them and their personality? fairless &

• brave confronted/sporty.

• What are two main events that have happened so far? The first main event

• was him coming to school

• & him getting a new car. And getting bullied.

• What do you predict is going to happen next? I was going to predict that

• he might have a car crash.

• But now that I looked at the title of the story now

• I protect that he is playing rugby to win it.

Blackout Poetry Blog

 Today, are class has been working on Blackout poetry. Its when you get this piece of newspaper and circle words you like. But you don't do random words you have to make it into a poetry. After we did are poetry we had to cut it out. Then we had to color all the words we didn't like in markers so it doesn't show so you can read your poetry you made then we had to glue it onto a colorful piece of paper then put are names on it so we know who is whose. I will show you how my one turned out  and what my words say in it if you can't see it.

I have just nordic it was upside down so I will read to you what they say the first one at the top says. But just saying it might not make sentence. But here '' before moving corona virus has spread more meaning more people getting hurt''

The other one down the bottom of paper says '' Flowers bloom shine then glow by time'' I hope you enjoyed.

PE

 1. Those people without PE gear will not participate and receive a consequence.

2. before coming into gym you must line up as a class outside the door. 

3. Once you are changed into your PE gear you must come and sit down as a class in a place you were asked by the teacher.

4. all gear must be left alone until the teacher has instructed you to use it.

Pink Shirt Day

 Hi, guys today we have been working on when Pink shirt day was created. And when it helped us stop bullying other people. Here are some information I have learnt from Pink shirt day.

Bullies - Script Detective H2

In drama we have been working on a bullie script such as script detective then our drama teacher read us a story and we had to draw something from each scene. The week before we had been playing some games such as 123 freeze and frozen statues to work on our drama/listening skills.

The Gingerbread man

 

• Who is the protagonist? - the protagonist is the gingerbread man

• Who is the antagonist? - the antagonist is the lazy fox

• What type of character do you think the Gingerbread Man is (dynamic, static, round) and why do you think that? - I think the gingerbread man is a dynamic because its a character of lots of energy.

• Direct characterization about the old lady and old man 

• Hint: what do we find out about them at the beginning? the old man was a gardener at the beginning of the story and had a very grumpy voice.The old lady was surprised.
  
  

• Indirect characterization about the Gingerbread Man 

• Hint: what do his actions show us?  cheeky, silly, over confident.

• Come up with three ways you could describe him based on indirect characterization . When he was taken out of the oven he was ready to take off on an adventure. He trusted the fox. He was not nice to the other animals.
